Candidate Eligibility Details:

The candidates must satisfy themselves regarding their eligibility for this test before applying.

• Life Members of the Indian Orthodontics Society who have completed a duly recognized Master's Course in the specialty of Orthodontics, after 31st December 1998. Those applicants who have passed their MDS examination on or before 31st December 1998 are exempt from taking IBO Phase II examination
• Student Members of IOS [SLM Members], enrolled in a Master's program in Orthodontics in the Union of India, , from any DCI recognized institution and who have completed 12 months of their course from the date of their admission
• International Members of Indian Orthodontic Society who are Foreign Trained Orthodontists of Indian Or Foreign Nationality who have completed an Advanced Education Program in Orthodontics outside India, equivalent to that recognized by the Dental Council Of India.

SLM Candidate Pursing MDS:

• For SLM Candidate, currently pursuing MDS needs to upload the Declaration form.
• Specimen for Declaration form can be downloaded from Home Page by clicking on link 'SLM Candidate Pursing MDS'.

Simple steps to Apply Online

• Fill the basic registration form and note down the Registration Number.
• Login and fill details in application form.
• Upload your recent photo & signature.
• Upload relevant documents for LM/SLM/International Candidates)

• International Member Candidate will only have one payment method i.e., Account Transfer.

Note -

• For IOS Life Member candidate residing outside India willing to take the exams in India will have to pay by means of Indian Payment Method. Only INR will be accepted in this case.
• For IOS Life Member Candidate residing outside India, choosing remote proctored examination will have to pay fees in USD.
• For IOS International Members, only 'Remote Proctored' examination mode is available.
• For IOS Student Life Member, only 'Center Based Examination' is available.

Uploading of Photograph, Signature and Documents for submission of application is required.

• The Scanned image of the Photograph of the candidate should be in JPG, JPEG format and Image size should be between 20Kb to 60Kb
• The Scanned image of Signature of the candidate should be in JPG, JPEG format and Image size should be between 10Kb to 30Kb
• If the image for Photo and Signature is not as per the need, than the candidates can convert or resize the image for Photo & Signature by visiting the Online Image Converter Websites. Candidates need to upload their Image on this Online Image Converter Website and get the images converted in respective Size and File Type as mentioned above. Once the image is converted, then the newly converted image needs to be uploaded in the Registration Portal under their respective section
• The Document of the candidate should be in JPG, JPEG, PDF format and size should be between 50Kb to 200Kb
  Only legitimate photographs of individuals and signatures are considered as valid. Uploading images of live/dead of any nature / images of any other personality of any field shall be considered as non-eligible and such applications shall be summarily rejected, with no further communication entertained

Note:

• The Candidate is required to mention only his/her own mobile number and email ID (One mobile number and email ID can be used for filling one application only) as all information/communication will be sent by IBO on email ID. The email ID should be valid at least for next 12 months.
• Once the application form is completely filled in, the candidate should use the 'Final Submit' button which will save all the data/ details filled in and here the candidates will get another opportunity to check their complete application details and can edit the details, if needed.

Examination

• IBO will conduct Test through Center based for LM/SLM, consisting of questions from the topics.
• IBO will conduct Test in Remote Proctored Mode for International Students and LM candidates residing outside India, consisting of questions from the topics.
• Life Members residing outside India has option to give Centre Based Exam in India.
